The Visit Of the Tai Tai
It was 1956, and you were in love with the prettiest girl..
That summer, everything was beautiful. The sound made by the woodpecker, the sun rising in the far east, the trees dancing to the music all around.
Then you suddenly woke up from the dream and you left that little girl, still 17.
Suddenly, she isn't a part of you anymore. She is Claire now.
From then on you lost Love.
1957, you fell in love again..
But shortly after, you fell out of love again. so Claire lost her leg..
Desperate to walk. she had to use an artificial leg.
In 1560, Claire lost her left hand. but this time she was determined to be true to herself so she refused an artificial hand.
But this is a cruel world.. Everyone laughed at her handicap..
Soon after, Claire bought her plastic hand
No one was there to heal her.. no one cared
So piece by piece, Claire took form.. someone you dont know anymore.. a monster, a machine that's bitter and unfeeling..
1976, she reappeared in your life.. Powerful and rich.
She's no longer the 17 year old girl you used to know
She's now the Tai Tai.
How funny you still want to call her Claire.

the smell of that morning, the swing you two used to sit together, the music you two knew so well
But she's Tai Tai now
