10 Favorite Album Covers
From The Choirgirl Hotel, Tori Amos
1st.
Call me strange. I find this highly erotic.
And the artwork works perfectly well with the music theme of the album. At least to me.
A Few Small Repairs, Shawn Colvin
2nd.
According to Shawn Colvin, the three-eye lady in the cover is Sunny (from Sunny Came Home).
春光, Tracy Huang
3rd.
Shh... A sense of Spring. But a side of the darkness.
How can I resist that?
Sleeping With Ghosts, Placebo
4th.
Not a Placebo fan. But always want to get the album because of the cover.
Diva, Annie Lennox
5th.
Feathers.
Mascara.
Need I explain more?
爵士名伶, Mavis Fan
6th.
Mysteriousness is always sexy
Both Sides Now, Joni Mitchel
7th.
Joni always say that she's a painter and an accidental singer.
She painted this cover.
And I think the cigarette makes everything sadder.. and sexier..
Light Years, Kylie Minogue
8th.
Flare shot + Kylie.
phew!
Bury The Hatchet, The Cranberries
9th.
Feels like that sometimes.
People are watching and waiting for you to make a wrong move.
唱遊, Faye Wong
10th.
I just like the makeup.

What Am I To You?
Doing what Sha is doing.
About what you think about me.
Whether you know me from interactions or from my blog.
Whether good or bad.
Whether truths or untruths.
As long as that's what you think about me.
Let's try.
Though I suspect my readers are quite very shy

The Prestige
The story is about two magicians who spends their whole life trying to prove that one is the better of the other.
And of course, each pays his own price in the end.
To me, the essence of the movie is when Robert Angier (played by Hugh Jackman) was showing his 'magic' - a real machine that can duplicate any element and form, to a prospective investor who is also a great magician, all the amazed man said was, "Add something to the act. Give the audience something to suspect about."
Isn't it true that sometimes the truth is not enough?
People want fanciful things.
If magic cannot look like it is something that is merely a trick, people will not buy it.
And I must know this well because people often ask me to be honest.
But I have to be tactful.
People are adorable.
Truth and nothing but the truth.

A Listening Ear
I often wonder if people know that my decisions and course of actions are often factored with others.
That's why when I need to make a decision for a group, I ask and demand a lot of information.
Where is a good location to meet up?
Will A and B be able to get a bus back after the meeting?
Will C need to make a double bus transfer in order to meet?
How come D can want to meet in a place so convenient for himself/ herself that D cannot see that A has to travel so far?
Unfortunately, people only tell me that they wished I am not so controlling.
I listen. And I will be very patient until I find that you are merely whining.
I do not believe in whining.
I ask people to stop also because I believe there are tons of people who are not invested enough to want you to pick yourself up.
So I often choose to pick the role who you will hate (because I am the only person who tells you what you do not want to hear).
Unfortunately, people only thinks of me as unsympathetic.
To this, I can only say.
You're not worth it.

Gage, your subconscious mind is driven most by Curiosity
This means you are full of questions about life, people, and the potential of your future. You spend more time than others envisioning the possibilities of your life — things that others are too afraid to consider.
Your curiosity burns with an almost physical need to know and do more. It's only through new experiences that you feel a greater understanding of yourself or the world — which ultimately is the greatest way for you to feel satisfied.
It is possible that the underlying reason for your drive towards curiosity is a deeply rooted fear of boredom. That means that you are probably more susceptible than others to feel like you're falling into a rut when life slows down into a comfortable routine.
You need to make sure you have stimulation in your life — that makes you feel like you're innovating or being exposed to the ideas and experiences that truly inspire you.
With such a strong orientation towards curiosity, you're also prone to a rebellious quality that shows up when you feel you are just going through the motions, and are unable to really influence the world around you. But interestingly enough, your drive towards novel experiences also indicates an openness others don't have, but wish they did.
Unconsciously, your curiosity presses you to learn more, experience more, and get the most out of life.
Though your unconscious mind is driven most strongly by Curiosity, there is much more to who you are at your core.
Do test here.

I Started A Joke
Not exactly in the mood to study, I decided to read Damien's blog.
And he shared this one lame joke:
Did you hear about the gay sperm whale?
It bit the tip of a submarine and sucked out all the sea-men.
hee.
So I sent the joke to Adrian and Kester.
In return, they each shared a joke with me.
This is new to me as my friends usually will not even reply to my sms.
Anyway, Adrian's joke:
HE: Hey Baby. Remember me? Didn't we go out once or twice?
SHE: Must be once... I don't make the same mistake twice.
Kester's joke:
HE: Go on. I know I'm gorgeous. Ask me out.
SHE: ok, get out!
I started a joke, and got 2 back to brighten my day.
It's life lovely-ly?
aww....

In My Playlist Now: Arthur
在我们都还能清楚表达自己的时候
请你牢牢记住
我是多么的爱你
在地球还能不停转动 转动的时候
请你牢牢记住
我是多么的爱你
Before we lose the ability to express ourselves clearly
Please remember for one more time, just how much I love you
Before the end of time finally arrives
Please remember undoubtedly, just how much I love you
春天就要过去
下个冬季也会来临
曾经牵着你抱着你的我的手
终将失去美丽光彩
我怕来不及
我要看着你
请你相信
The spring is going to be over
The next winter will also be coming
Beauty will fade away one day
But my love for you will never fade
Please believe me
请你牢牢记住
我是多么的爱你
Please do not ever forget, just how much I love you
